Just recently I've been thinking that I'd like to have a go at keeping a daily photo blog. The plan is to take and upload one photo each day. It isn't a new idea but that doesn't matter to me. I think it could be a useful discipline to get into. We'll see how long I manage to keep it up.

Learn how to write html code by following the beginner tutorials at this excellent site.
If I add a new paragraph, I wonder whether it will show in the short version on the homepage? It shouldn't if I have things working correctly. However, I need to check that the text is being correctly marked up.

Would it be better to have separate categories for links and blog entries as the ones for the blog entries are not always relevant to links? Another approach would be to filter out categories (from sidebar menus) if they are not associated with any existing links/entries. This is probably a better idea. To do this I guess I just need to use a table JOIN in my sql when I select categories.
